I grew up in the states and came to Canada when I was in my early 20's. I do not get the paranoia about health care making people into "socialists".Crazy RAvens Studiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13899701743108985403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25881205.post-41231259429137596962010-01-25T15:21:29.785-05:002010-01-25T15:21:29.785-05:00It's wonderful to get comments on my blog and ...It's wonderful to get comments on my blog and I thank you all. Each square is a separate small printing relief plate which is inked up and printed with space left between each one and that gives the grid like appearance. It's printed in gold on a dark coloured background. When that dried I painted the instrument in over the top but still left the grid marks between each square to keep the gridded appearance. I hope this makes it clear. I pulled the full sized work onto board yesterday but it will take much longer to dry to the point where I can paint in the cello head because the oil inks are not absorbed like they are on paper. I will post a picture soon on how it looks before I start painting in the cello head.Susannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25881205.post-35278773492144444972010-01-18T17:07:17.683-05:002010-01-18T17:07:17.683-05:00It is really interesting Susanne! I like the play between the color and subtle background. <br />I also would be interested to know more about how the process of your printing ties in.
